M.Sc. Architecture Examination Regulations 2009
The four-semester Masters Studies of Architecture mainly consist of three elective projects:
the one-semester Open Design Project M1, the two-semester Emphasis Project M2 and the project of the one-semester Final Examination M3. Project work is complemented by integrated seminars with interdisciplinary contents.
Impromptu drafts enhance the students' conceptual and design abilities with problems limited according to time and content.
Apart from the "Project Study of Choice", basic theoretical as well as application-related contents of architecture are conveyed by the modules "History and Theory" and "Methods and Procedures". Many different continuative offers for architecture and urban planning but also elective subjects from other faculties allow individual study focuses. The Studies finish with the Master Final Exam, in which the open study peaks in a personal answer to a relevant problem within architecture.
