CIP-Pool of the Faculty of Architecture

The CIP-Pool of the Faculty of Architecture is located at R110 in Reiffmuseum and was last equipped with new hardware for the winter term 2009. It is operated by the Department of CAAD.

The CIP-Pool is open to all students of the Faculty of Architecture for study-related computer work. During the semester, the CIP-Pool is open from 9 AM to 5 PM. Due to courses which are held in the CIP-Pool during opening hours, the use for non-course participants can be limited, i.e. no plotting service, no support, etc. (see notices!).

During the semester break, the CIP-Pool is used either weekly and all-day for seminars or it is also freely available weekly and all-day (9 AM to 5 PM). The booking schedule will be published on the notice board shortly before the end of the semester.

Plotting-Service

Plotting orders are processed via the "plotting master" without exception. The plotting master, which is integrated in myREIFF, allows the sending of plotting orders from anywhere in the world at any time. The plots are usually completed within two business days after sending, can be paid either at the CAAD office (cash) or in the CIP-Pool (cash card) and afterwards be picked up at the CIP-Pool. Please note that the CAAD office is open from 9 AM to 3 PM and Fridays only until 1 PM. In general, it is recommended to read information displayed in the ploting master regarding formats (sizes) etc.

ICC Color Profiles

For color acurate printing to the HP Designjet Z6100 in the CIP-Pool of the Faculty you can download the ICC color profiles matching with our paper grades.
