Application of tuition fees at RWTH Aachen University
The fees, minus the payments for those students who cannot pay the tuition fees partly or fully (Ausfallfonds), are intended for the universities and shall be used exclusively for the improvement of teaching and study conditions.

The Board of Tuition Fees at the Faculty of Architecture
The Advisory Board for tuition fees is called Reiff+.
This committee consists of four representatives of the student council and one representative each of professors, academic staff and non-academic staff.
One of the four students shall preside as chair.
The structure ensures the majority for the students.
Reiff+ meets once a month. The meeting is scheduled to take place on the first Thursday of each month at 9 AM.
Program of measures
Each year a program of measures shall be adopted according to which the funds from the tuition fees are used.
The time period always begins on April 1st of each year and ends on March 31st of the following year.
Applications to Reiff+
Applications must be filed in written form via email to Ms. Fiedler until the 15th of the previous month. They may only be filed in conjunction with a department or the student council. The applications should include the following points:
1_Type of the improvement
2_Purpose of use
3_if applicable number of participating students
4_if applicable semester and degree program (Bachelor, Master, Diploma)
5_if applicable number of ECTS or points
6_Amount of costs
