Team RWTH Aachen University participates in Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 Competition
The Counter-Entropy-House is completed! After almost two years of planning and construction, the student team of RWTH Aachen University has completed its contribution to the Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 in Madrid in time.
With the subject ?Re-use? as the central theme, the team of over 40 students from almost all faculties of RWTH Aachen University has set up a house, which not only does justice to the high architectural and technical demands, but also minimizes the ecological impact on the environment by the reuse of various materials.
The competition runs until the 29th of September, 2012. Among the ten disciplines, communication is also an important issue. Here, members of RWTH Aachen University can help us with the following activities: first of all, a ?Like? in the social media (Facebook, Youtube) would help us - among other things, the jury uses this to evaluate the reach of the team homepage. In Twitter: please follow @RWTHSolar. Furthermore, there ia a public award on the internet - for this it is necessary to register on the website .
The house can be visited until the 30th of September, 2012, from 4 p.m. - all day on weekends. For visitor information, go to the Solar Decathlon Europe website.
