Students of RWTH Aachen University Receive Young Architects Prize Foundation Deutsche Pfandbriefbank 2010

This year, the pbb Young Architects Award as well as an acknowledgment go to students of the RWTH Aachen University:

  • Prize winner Jens Johannisson (RWTH Aachen University, Department of Building Typologies and Design Basics) for the diploma thesis "On the Power of Water ?"
  • Acknowledged Florian Summa and Michael Schoener (RWTH Aachen University, Department of Building Construction and Design) for the term paper "Timber-Campus Nettersheim"

The pbb Foundation Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has awarded its Architecture Prize as well as its Young Architects Architecture Prize for exemplary commercial buildings already for the 10th time. The pbb Young Architects Architecture Prize is endowed with ? 7.000 and is awarded to exemplary diploma theses and term projects in the commercial real estate.

The Prize, which is under the auspices of the Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs and the President of the Association of German Architects (BDA), is awarded to exemplary commercial buildings and is one of the few to be awarded in this area at federal level.
