Students Award "BDA Masters 2011? for RWTH Aachen University Bachelor Graduate
The Association of German Architects BDA, Regional Association NRW, for the fourth time awarded its annual student award BDA Masters.
Isabelle Vins (RWTH Aachen University) received one of the five student prizes for her design ?Sekundär, Neusser Hafen? ? Altbier brewery, supervised by Univ.-Prof. Anne Julchen Bernhardt, Univ.-Prof. Mirko Baum and Nora Müller.
Outstanding Bachelor graduates from North Rhine-Westphalian Architecture and Urban Planning faculties could apply for the prize by their deans?s recommendations. The award winners receive a prize money of 2.000 Euros, which, however, is tied to the commencement of a Master Studies Program.
The jury session and the award ceremony took place on Nov. 24th 2011, at the Polytechnic Cologne, Faculty of Architecture, Betzdorfer Str. 2, 50679 Cologne. 26 works were submitted. Five coequal prizes were awarded.
