Teaching Award Summer Semester 2012
Awarded by the Student Council Architecture to Dr.-Ing. Rolf Gerhardt for the lecture and tutorial Structural Engineering I (1st semester) Basics and Structural Engineering II (2nd semester) Structures and Structural Design in the first academic year.
Dr.-Ing. Rolf Gerhardt receives the teaching award of the Student Council Architecture which carries a value of 5000? for the winter semester 2011/12 for his very clear and easily understandable introduction to the basics of structural engineering in the first academic year. Using an overhead projector and vivid video projector presentations, Rolf Gerhardt gives his introduction especially to the field of graphostatics "with a passion that infects the students" *. With his always excellently prepared lecture material, he responds flexibly to the accompanying exercises and the knowledge of the students. The drawings made during the lectures match the exercises and can be transferred and understood by the students even during the lecture. The prize money will be handed to him with a very good grade in the pre-evaluation of the Student Council Representatives by means of verified evaluation results and a clear vote of the General Assembly. It is to be used to expand his teaching in terms of improved quality and in collaboration with the student who suggested him for the Award.
