RWTH Aachen University builds a temporary seminar building for students


RWTH Aachen University is one of the most successful universities in this year's student competition of Baumeister and Nemetschek Allplan Systems. Subject of the competition were upper level extensions; a total of 33 works were submitted from 16 universities. This time, two out of three awards go to RWTH students. The winners of the RWTH Aachen University are: Patrick Knüppe for his submission "Curia House at Roncalliplatz in Cologne" (category "public building?) and Thomas Haber for his submission "Diving Bunker" (category ?conversion?). Both works were supervised by the Department of Building Construction and Design. Each award-winning work receives a prize money of 1,500 Euros.
