pnd - rethinking planning once again focuses on an urgent transformation topic: Productive Processes - Sustainable Change of Urban Industrial Areas.
In the center and on the periphery of cities, industrial areas are undergoing changes that are having a lasting impact on the way we work and live. These changes seem superficially inconspicuous, but communities and their public administrations are under increasing pressure to protect space and provide solutions for their productive areas. This issue therefore presents international perspectives from a variety of disciplines on these challenges. Collectively, the contributions represent a snapshot of the common interest and concern for urban and industrial areas.
