The tagesschau future podcast: Let's say - Climate-neutral houses? What then?
In the future podcast, tagesschau thinks political ideas further into the future and plays out in thought experiments what could happen if they became reality. Every second Thursday there is a new episode of the award-winning podcast, in episode 13 "Climate-neutral houses? What Then?", junior professor Linda Hildebrand is the guest and talks about building materials that can be used well and sustainably as well as recycled.
The Junior Professorship of Recyclable Construction was established in October 2014 at the Faculty of Architecture. Resource-appropriate construction is an essential parameter to balance the relationship between the built and natural environment. The focus is on the manufacturing and deconstruction phases of the building cycle. The choice of construction and material of a building component influences later possibilities of use, supports or prevents further use. The reuse and further use of unused building fabric represents a potential that has received little attention to date. You can find out more about this here.
