Opening 'Zukunft Bau' Pop-up Campus
Event Description
This year, Zukunft Bau is testing a new format for the first time that bridges the gap between the latest findings from science, their translation into practical building applications, and their communication to a broad audience. For a period of 3 months, an existing area in the host city of Aachen will be transformed into an experimental space that allows for creative testing of new construction approaches: The Zukunft Bau Pop-up Campus. For this purpose, a currently vacant building ensemble within walking distance of the main train station will be temporarily converted. With a focus on the goal of a climate-neutral building stock in 2045, innovative approaches for the construction of the future will be generated and demonstrated.
