Network Configurations
TCP / IP configuration
The computers are configured exclusively by DHCP.
All addresses assigned by the DHCP server in the network are static, i.e.
workstations, servers or printers always get the same IP address.
If you need access to the network send an email to support@arch.rwth-aachen.de.
We need the following information:
- the hardware address of the Ethernet adapter.
- the name of the teaching unit.
- a name for the computer (e.g. the name of the employee).
- with Linux systems a note that bootp instead of dhcp is desired.
