In this project, the expansion of the Bonn University takes place through an architecture with 5 new seminar rooms. A generous entrance area not only connects the stairwells and lecture halls, but also offers a strong transparency to the parks to the south and the Rhine, which flows to the east past the old bastion. The north side with its indirect lighting creates a pleasant yet bright climate in the classrooms. The construction, made of the sustainable material wood integrates itself well next to the light-yellow main university building and palace with its surrounding groups of trees, the adjacent city park and the birthplace of the former garden artist, Peter Joseph Lenné.
