Requirements:

  • Good academic performance
  • Social engagement in spirit of the Foundation
  • Readiness for active participation in the educational program
  • In case of comparable qualifications, women, people in need and people with disabilities are preferred
  • Particularly students from engineering disciplines
  • Studierende sollten zu Beginn der Förderung noch die Hälfte der Regelstudienzeit vor sich haben und das 30. Lebensjahr nicht überschreiten
  • At the beginning of the sponsorship, students must have left at least half of study and not exceed the age of 30

Application:

  • Self-application BA program, deadlines: April 30th, 2013 and October 31st, 2013
  • Self-application MA program, deadlines: April 30th, 2013 and October 31st, 2013
  • Interviews with liaison teachers, selection committee
  • Initially granted for one year

Sponsorship:

  • A maximum of 597 € per month (income-dependent, based on BAföG)
  • Book money 150 € per month
  • Grants for stays abroad, Study trips, conference visits and internships
  • Participations in seminars, conferences, vacation academies, workshops and educational trips
  • Sponsorship of self-administrational scholarship and study groups
  • Network access
