• Political Foundation with an active interest in the basic “green” values such as ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self determination and justice
• The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to approximately 1,000 undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students of all subjects and nationalities per year

Requirements:

• Excellent academic performance
• Social involvement
• Political interest, active engagement with the core values of the Foundation
• Special target groups: first generation students, students with an immigration background, science subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology or engineering sciences)
• BA program: up to the end of 3rd semester
• MA program: up to the end of 1st semester

Application:

• Self-application BA program, deadlines: September 1st, 2013 and March 1st, 2013
• Self-application MA program, deadline: March 1st, 2013
• Interview with liaison teacher on location, selection workshop with individual interview and group discussion

Sponsorship:

• A maximum of 597 € per month (income-dependent, based on BAföG)
• Book money 150 € per month
• Grants for health care and long term care insurance
• If applicable, family allowance and child care allowance
• Grants for temporary stays abroad and internships
• Participation in the internal education program and counselling
