As part of the Annual Exhibition of Architecture "JAA", the Faculty of Architecture at RWTH Aachen University presented student works and selected research projects with a new perspective last October. The exhibition provided an insight into the work processes and results of the past semesters in the form of posters and could be viewed flexibly and corona-conform over several days in Aachen's city centre.

The student self-construction project "Stadtsaal" (the disused subway at the Petersstraße/Kurhausstraße junction) became the centrepiece of the exhibition and was ceremonially opened at the same time. The Stadtsaal is a new place where smaller events and exhibitions take place - not only for students of the faculty, but also for an interested public. The project is intended to support the current upgrading process of Aachen's inner city east.
