Recycling-friendly building
The Junior Professorship of Recyclable Construction was established in October 2014 at the Faculty of Architecture. Resource-appropriate construction is an essential parameter to balance the relationship between the built and natural environment. The focus is on the manufacturing and deconstruction phases of the building cycle. The choice of construction and material of a building component influences later possibilities of use, supports or prevents further use. The reuse and further use of unused building fabric represents a potential that has received little attention to date. You can find out more about this here.
