Open Minds meet Open Campus

After two years of intensive collaboration between industry, research, politics and associations, the Center Construction Robotics presented the research highlights of the past two years on the occasion of the second birthday of the reference construction site at Campus West as part of the "Open minds meet open campus" celebration week.

At the Center Construction Robotics, an interdisciplinary team of scientists from RWTH Aachen University is conducting research on the construction site of the future together with a European industry consortium. The reference construction site serves simultaneously as a think tank and a real laboratory. At the same time, the Chair of Individualized Production, headed by Professor Sigrid Brell-Cokcan, has launched the international Master's program in Construction & Robotics. Since the start of the joint venture, the reference construction site has attracted more and more sponsors as well as industry and project partners.

Thus, in just two years, the construction site of the future has become the meeting place of the construction industry: Business and science, research, politics and associations meet here to discuss the topics of the future and to jointly develop solutions for the challenges of the time.
